I hope everyone's safe, healthy, and indoors! I've only gone outside for food, medication, and slowly starting my moveout process. My mental health has been pretty shoddy the past month, affecting my productivity, so I haven't gotten as much done as I would have originally liked.
I have postponed Project Eis until Halloween since I need to finish my schoolwork for grad school on top of, you know, staying sane home alone with my cats in this pandemic. I still have less than a week to finish the first draft of my untitled Psychological Thriller, which is definitely not in the young adult category anymore. I'm at about 34k (as of writing this), and I still have to write connecting scenes from the midpoint to the climax. I both have to and will finish this book by the end of the month.

I WATCHED:
Dead Files Dr. Phil Hellier
I PLAYED:
Animal Crossing
Obey Me! One Master to Rule Them All
Mystic Messenger
I READ:
Buddha in the Attic Binti
For May, my goal is to finish the first draft of Thrown. That's it; simple as that. I'm right at the last integral moment that triggers the climax. I've been debating about whether or not I'd rather it be a graphic novel series, but that's a debate for after I've finished the first draft. I've been cooking up ideas for more stories/books/projects, so I've been making sure to write them down as they come to me. The next general phase of my author career is revising the first draft books I've already written and then preparing them for their proper submission forms. (And polishing off The Drekavac to start querying it.)
Stay safe, stay sane, stay sanitized.
